Montreal's STM metro system is an essential part of the city's vibrant daily life, connecting neighborhoods and cultures across its vast network. The metro is not just a means of transit but a space where art, history, and community intersect.

Design decisions
To emphasize this concept, dots are used to symbolize the connections between each element. The pattern mirrors the ongoing beat, reflecting the rhythm of both the city and its inhabitants. Just as a heartbeat sustains life, these connections form the vital pulse of the city, linking people, art, and their shared experiences.

This project reimagines Montreal’s STM metro as a space of connection between people, art, and movement. Through this process, I learned how to translate abstract concepts like rhythm and connection into visual elements, and how design can deepen the emotional resonance of everyday spaces.
